The Auditor General of Québec, like all other individuals appointed by the National Assembly, is not subject to the Sustainable Development Act. The organization has nevertheless chosen to voluntarily contribute to the Government Sustainable Development Strategy 2015-2020 (in French only) by adopting its own Sustainable Development Action Plan 2017-2020, which was extended by the transition plans for 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.
The Sustainable Development Action Plan 2021-2022 (in French only) is an updated version of the previous transition plan for 2020-2021, pending the next government sustainable development strategy.
The action plan includes the Auditor General’s sustainable development commitments contained in the Strategic Plan for 2019-2023, the Sustainable Development Action Plan 2017-2020 and the Sustainable Development Action Plan 2020-2021.
