Special audits and investigations are carried out at the request of the government or the Conseil du trésor. This work gives rise to separate reports, which were reproduced in an appendix to the volumes of the annual report until 2008. Since that time, they have been a separate volume of the Annual Report of the Auditor General of Québec to the National Assembly.
