The audit of the consolidated financial statements of the Government of Québec

Each year, this report is tabled in the National Assembly at the time of the publication of the Public Accounts of the Government of Québec; it is produced from the annual report of the Auditor General to the National Assembly. The document presents the observations and remarks of the Auditor General following the audit of the financial statements of the Government of Québec and accompanies the auditor’s report on these financial statements.

The document also deals with other subjects of interest to parliamentarians. It notably aims to allow parliamentarians to simultaneously read the consolidated financial statements of the Government of Québec and all of the relevant remarks at the time of their tabling. Each year, the report is reproduced in an Appendix to one of the volumes of the Annual Report of the Auditor General to the National Assembly.
