Organizational Structure 

Mr. Michel Samson, Acting Auditor General of Québec, can count on the support of four Assistant
Auditors General, including the Sustainable Development Commissioner, Mr. Jean Cinq-Mars. Ms Diane Bergeron, MM. Marcel Couture and Marc Ouellet are the other Assistant Auditors General. 

The management team coordinates the work of 7 main directorates, 18 auditing directorates and 6 advisory-service or support directorates. To optimize the expertise and the efficiency of the work teams, the auditing directorates focus on either financial audits or value-for-money audits (including audits dealing with the implementation of the Sustainable Development Act).

The scope of the field of activities of the Auditor General requires a wide range of knowledge on the part of his employees. That is why the organization’s team includes, in addition to accounting specialists, professionals with various academic backgrounds.
